Lucy's Sunshine Report for September 11, 2014
1. Martha Bell may be able to see her grandsons more often. Her oldest, who is 29, has gotten out of the Army after four years. Another one has finished college, moved here, and is teaching history at the high school.
2. Mertie has a doctor appointment, and can't be here.
3. Jim and Lenita Boyd are in Nashville today for dental appointments.
4 Margaret Davis plays canasta on Thursdays, and today is her turn to host the games.
5. Peggy George has been busy with an upcoming wedding shower for a granddaughter who is to be married in December.
6. Barbara Scott enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren, and their mother who were visiting from Bedford County.
7. Jim attended the national NARFE meeting in Orlando in August.
8. Don and I spent two weeks with our sons and their families in Maryland in August.
9. Maxine Weeden has been admitted to NHC for rehab after being in the hospital for heart stents.
