Lucy's Sunshine Report for July 12, 2012
1. We were sorry to hear about the June 23rd death of Arsey Womack. He had been sick for a long time and unable to attend our meetings.
2. W.C. said their garden didn't do good due to lack of rain. He hasn't been catching any fish either.
3. Not many have been traveling due to the heat.
4. Gloria and Preston Grissom have been to Gatlinburg, and locally to Fall Creek falls and Rock Island for picnics.
5. James and Lenita Boyd have been on a three week trip to Texas and New Mexico, driving through states including Oklahoma, Missouri and Illinois.
6. Maxine Weeden went to Louisville, KY to visit her cousin and 91 year old aunt.
7. Art Larson said they are involved in too many things, and have decided not to renew their NARFE membership. Art had gall bladder surgery on Monday. He is in room 309 at River Park.
