Lucy's Sunshine Report for May 10, 2012
1. Condolences to Rawlin on the accidental death of his great-grandson, 19 month old Hayden Wilcher, who died on March 25th.
2. Condolences to Boyd Spry on the death of his wife, Patricia.
3. Jim and Nancy recently went to Kentucky to visit Jim's brother, sister, and cousin, and attended the horse races in Lexington. Later they are going to New Hampshire to visit their son, daughter-in-law, and grandson.
4. Lucy, her brother, and sister that lives here, visited their oldest brother and his wife in Marion, Illinois, and also went on a short trip to St. Louis. They saw many interesting things, and enjoyed the view from the top of the arch.
5. W.C. has been fishing a lot, and catching them too.
6. Martha Bell went to Georgia to see her granddaughter graduate from college. She also visited a grandson who was leaving on a month-long trip to China with professors and other students from Lee College in Cleveland which he attends.
7. Art and Elaine Larson went to the Dollywood international festival. They also were in Crossville for a week of golfing.
8. Sue Smart will be going to her grandson, Ethan Smartt's, graduation Friday from UTK law school. She thought she should stay home tonight, and save her energy for tomorrow's trip. She also has two granddaughters graduating in May, Jessica Kersey from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, and Molly Kersey from Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a Master's in Engineering Management.
