Lucy's Sunshine Report for May 12, 2011
1. Martha Bell is at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri to attend the graduation from basic training of her oldest grandson. He graduates Friday, then goes to Arizona for further training in intelligence.
2. James and Lenita Boyd were in Sarasota, Florida for two weeks at the end of March, and beginning of April. They were planning a trip to Texas in their RV last week, but cancelled it due to the flooding.
3. Nelma is feeling better after she was rushed to the ER a few days ago. Her doctor thinks it was a lymph node infection, and is trying to clear it up with antibiotics. W.C. was recently in the hospital for a few days with a clot in his leg. He was sent home with Coumadin, and is feeling better.
4. Peggy and Harold are planning a trip to Williamsburg, Virginia.
5. Jim and Nancy were in Tampa, Florida in April visiting their grandchildren. They have a new grandson, Zeke, born April 7th in New Hampshire. They're looking forward to seeing him.
6. Art and Elaine went on a trip to the Smokies and to Crossville for a week to golf. They also went on the Savannah trip for a week with the Senior Center.
7. Carol Scott is in Pittsburg visiting with her daughter. She's there to help out at her daughter's business.
8. Martha Smartt has a new 7 1/2 week old great grandson. It's her third great grandson.
9. Mertie is out of town celebrating birthdays for 2 great granddaughters, and also to see their ball games.
10. Don and I were in Maryland at the end of March to visit our sons and their families, and to attend the funeral of our daughter-in-laws dad. In April we went on the Savannah trip for a week with Just Friends.
