Nelma's Sunshine Report for January 10, 2008
1. Don and Lucy Morgan spent a quiet Christmas holiday here at home. They spent Thanksgiving in Maryland with family.
2. Joe and Tommye Adams are doing very well at present.
3. Mertie Clemons has been under the weather recently, but is feeling better now.
4. Today is Harold George's 75th birhtday. We wish him many more happy birthdays. Harold and Peggy enjoyed 17 family members for Christmas at their house, and 24 for their New Year's Eve party.
5. Jim and Nancy Glenn picked up their son at the airport this afternoon. He's a 21 year old student at MTSU, and has been in Manchester, NH, at the political primary as guest of his big brother.
6. Joe Spain is feeling so much better after going through lots of tests for 2 months. Medications can be great, but sometimes they're not good mixed with others.
7. Nettie Moyers fell recently and is bruised up, but didn't break any bones, for which we are glad.
8. Barbara Scott had back surgery three weeks ago. It was due to nerve compression injury.
9. Sue Smartt enjoyed Christmas with family, and attended her grandson's graduation from UT in Knoxville. He plans to be a sports writer or reporter.
10. Cecil Prater spent Christmas with family in Kansas city.
11. Art and Elaine Larson and family attended a wonderful wedding in Rigedale, MO, recently. It was a three day event.
12. WC and Nelma are doing very well at present. Nelma has lost two first cousins in the last 3 weeks, and another one in October.
13. Miss Jolly Pryor sends her love to all. She was in hospital three weeks, but is now at home in Muscle Shoales, AL, and doing better.
14. Georgia Brooks is feeling a little better. She's been fighting a hard battle with cancer for several months now, most of 2007.
