Nelma's Sunshine Report for November 8, 2007
1. Ben and Margaret Davis aren't here tonight because they are busy getting ready for a big yard sale Saturday.
2. Mrs. Nettie Moyers isn't feeling well. She spent a while in the hospital this week. Hope she's feeling better. Doug is okay!
3. Carol Scott is out of town.
4. Lucy Morgan had a longtime friend from Maryland to come for a visit recently.
5. Harold and Peggy George will be leaving soon for a vacation at Pigeon Forge.
6. Martha Bell had knee surgery several weeks ago. She's doing well, and went back to work full time at the Post Office this Monday.
7. Georgia Brooks is feeling some better at this time, and is back at her home here in McMinnville. She has been at her daughter's in Knoxville for some time. Please keep Georgia in your prayers and with cards.
8. Art and Elaine Larson had their granddaughter and husband from Virginia for a visit recently. She grew up here, so she visited other family also. She is in the Navy, and will be deployed to destination unknown today. Let's pray for her safe return.
9. W.C. Chilton was in the hospital for a few days in October. He has a small blockage in the bottom of his heart which was causing pain in his chest. He's being treated with medication.
10. Joe Spain is having several health issues, and seeing several doctors - trying to find out what his problems are. Remember Joe in your prayers.
11. Jolly Prior called Tuesday afternoon. She asked about everyone and said "hello". She misses us, but is enjoying her new home in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Miss Jolly has been in the hospital with a blood clot in her leg. She's home now, but has family staying with her.
